Low bog landscapes — ÖPUL 2000's contribution to its natural use using the example of Lauteracher Ried
Description
The aim of the Austrian agri-environmental programme ÖPUL 2000 is, among other things, to preserve threatened, particularly valuable agricultural landscapes, as well as to protect and improve natural resources such as biodiversity. Low bog landscapes are considered to be particularly valuable habitats, which can be found in still large-scale remaining stocks in the Rhine Valley in Vorarlberg.
