Description

The data in this asset shares the needs of people affected by conflict and COVID-19 in Uganda collected via innovative needs assessment tools developed by NeedsList, a software that any organization can license to match essential necessities and offers in real-time provision for urgent local needs. The idea for NeedsList was sparked in 2015 at the height of the refugee crisis in Europe. The needs were overwhelming and constantly changing, and nobody could ever really keep track of what was requested. A wedding registry was hacked as a way to communicate needs in real-time and the idea for NeedsList was born.
