NCANDS Agency File Codebook
Description
The Agency File contains data that are not reportable at the child-specific level and often gathered from agencies external to CPS. The Agency File is a supplement to a case-level data file called the Child File. States are asked to submit both the Child File and the Agency File each year. This codebook shows the data elements included in an Agency File submission, along with definitions, values, and technical guidance provided to states.
