MUFLAN — Multifunctional Landscapes
Description
The report summarises the results of the MUFLAN project “Development of regional action programmes for the multifunctional, ecologically optimised use of landscape and environmental resources”. Within the framework of MUFLAN, principles and recommendations for an integrated resource planning and solutions for sustainable landscape development were developed for three Austrian Leader regions. The report describes in particular those topics and questions that provide impulses in the development of local development strategies. In addition, it contains recommendations for action for future projects as well as a checklist for examining projects with regard to landscape functions.
