Morphometric parameters, median and maximum concentrations, and percentages of stream lengths through geologic units for 33 tributary drainage basins of the San Juan River watershed in the Four Corners region, United States

Description

This data release presents data and calculations for morphometric parameters, median and maximum unfiltered concentrations used in statistical analyses, and stream lengths through geologic units that contain elevated concentrations of constituents of concern used for the publication, "Morphometric and geologic characterization with statistical correlations for 33 tributary drainage basins of the San Juan River watershed in the Four Corners region, United States" in the Geochemistry: Exploration, Environment, Analysis journal, http://dx.doi:10.1144/geochem2024-037. This data release contains the following items: Table 1. Morphometric parameters for 33 tributary drainage basins. A, area; R, relief; smax, maximum slope; rr, relief ratio; Dd, drainage density; T, drainage texture ratio; Lr, length ratio; rb, bifurcation ratio; re, elongation ratio; Sr, surface water runoff length; Rn, ruggedness number; P, perimeter; Lc, longest axis of basin; Lt, total stream lengths; N, total number of streams. Median and maximum concentrations of aluminum, arsenic, iron, lead, manganese, and uranium in unfiltered water samples that were used for stepwise multiple linear regression and principal component analyses. Tributary drainage basins are listed in upstream to downstream order. Table 2. Percentage of total stream reaches (lengths) for tributary drainage basins in geologic units with potentially elevated concentrations of constituents of concern (suspended sediment concentration (SSC), aluminum (Al), arsenic (As), lead (Pb), and uranium (U)). Double dashes indicate that stream length percent is less than one. Tributary drainage basins are listed in upstream to downstream order.
