Microplastics in the environment.
Description
The report provides an overview of the international state of research on the presence and detection of microplastics in the environment. Microplastics are now detected in all environmental media, food and the human body. In spite of increasing data, the comparability of studies is limited, as sampling and analytics have not yet been standardised. The results should therefore be assessed in this context.
