Description
Aircraft mapping of seagrass meadows since 1991 as part of the Trilateral Monitoring Programme (TMAP).Polygon and Line Cover. 2 Density classes of closed stocks are recorded. The identification of the areas from the sports aircraft is only possible from about 25 % coverage, Zostera nana and Z. marina are not distinguished. The results are entered in maps according to the observations, the situational inaccuracies are greater in the case of remote stocks. From 1989 and 1990, similar mappings exist in the context of ecosystem research in Schleswig-Holstein’s Wadden Sea, but differing in the classification.
