Description
The United Nations scientific programme called the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment (MEA) was designed to gather information on the conservation status of the planet's ecosystems and their services. The SEA has a multiscale character covering the local, national, regional and global scales.Among the objectives of the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment project in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country is to quantify and assess some functions and ecosystem services for use in the sustainable management of the territory through GIS programs.
