Data are from the University of Guam's Marine Laboratory (17 authors listed) 1977 Technical Report #34 entitled "Marine Environmental Baseline Report Commerical Port, Apra Harbor, Guam" that was submitted to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The report presents the results of a marine environmental baseline study of Commercial Port, Apra Harbor, Guam for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. The purpose of this study was to provide data and general information on the local water current patterns, water chemistry, substratum composition, and the species composition, abundance and distribution of zooplankton, algae, corals, macroinvertebrates and fishes in the Commercial Port area of Apra Harbor. This data package is a snapshot in time of one National Park Service project.
