Railway infrastructure — Railway routes
Description
The Priory Strati of National Interest (DBPrior10k) project was carried out within the framework of the State-Regions-Local Authorities on Geographical Information Systems (IntesaGIS) as of September 2003, and was handed over by the Interregional Centre, which carried out the works direction, to the Commission bodies (Region Basilicata, Ministry of the Environment) in June 2005. In December 2006 the RSDE commissioned by CTC IntesaGIS completed the publication of the DBPRIOR10K on www.IntesaGIS and preliminary homogenisation of the traffic graph. The activities carried out by the Interregional Centre in 2007 led to the integration of data that were still missing in order to complete the entire national coverage. For the railways, all the railways in the national territory have been acquired, both belonging to the Ferrovie dello Stato and to other companies. The information layers relating to railway infrastructure consist of linear and punctual elements. The linear elements identify the railway section.
