AIB — Ground use of fires in National Parks detected with GPS
Description
Perimeters of forest fires since 2007 (with different land use: “boscato” and “non-boscato”) on all Italian National Parks, derived from the original data collected by GPS by the State Forestry Corps and having four categories of land use, reworked by the Directorate-General for the Protection of Nature and the Sea of the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of Territory and Sea, after association with the alphanumeric data of the information sheet compiled for each forest fire (AIB-FN), ultimately excluding areas covered by fires outside the National Parks in the event of border fires.
