Description
In the Harmonised indices of consumer prices (HICP), item weights are assigned to all goods and services as well as special aggregates, determining their share in the calculation of the higher-level indices. They are updated annually and for each country and year, the item weights add up to 1,000. This dataset is compiled according to the European Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (ECOICOP) ver. 2.
