Air quality stations in Austria as of January 2011
Description
As of January 2011, the report describes all air quality stations operating on a statutory basis in Austria — measuring points for gaseous air pollutants, suspended dust, wet deposition and dust deposition as well as meteorological measuring points. These measuring points are operated by the offices of the state governments, the Federal Environment Agency and the Federal Research and Training Centre for Forests, Natural Hazards and Landscape. In addition, the measuring stations for ultraviolet radiation are recorded, which are operated by the University of Innsbruck on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management in cooperation with the operators of the air quality networks and the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics.
