Description

The Department of Codes and Regulations issues and inspects Development Permits (building, electrical, HVAC), enforces Property Maintenance Code (housing) and Land Development Code (zoning), and administers the Code Enforcement Board.

Address

Physical address that the property maintenance inspection was conducted on.

Occupancy 

Inspector observed occupancy at the time of the last inspection, this is an observational judgment at the time of inspection.

Inspection Date

Date of the last inspection at the address.

Status

Inspection result of the last inspection

Value

Description

Closed

Case closed no future follow ups scheduled.

Hold

Case stays open no notice sent. Follow up inspection created.

Citation

Citation notice sent and penalty assessed. Follow up inspection created.

Violation Notice 

Notice of Violation sent without financial penalty assessed.

Citation Referral

Citation notice sent, penalty assessed, and referral for abatement created after 14 days. Follow up inspection created.

Emergency Referral

Citation notice sent, penalty assessed, and referral for abatement created next day. Follow up inspection created.

Referred to Court

Inspection resulted in an initiation of the court process. Follow up inspection created.

Order to Vacate

Occupied structure found to have several life safety issues that require the structure be vacated until the issues are resolved. Follow up inspection created. 

Owner

Name of last known PVA identified property owner. This individual may not be the current owner or owner at time of inspections as PVA records can have a lag.
