Little Puerco Wash-Catalpa Canyon Floodplain Management Study

Description

The City of Gallup requested the Soil Conservation Service, through the McKinley Soil and Water Conservation District, to conduct a study of the Little Puerco Wash and Catalpa Canyon. Residential and commercial development within the study area and potential for continued expansion mandate a responsible land management plan to ensure reduction of soil erosion and flood risk.
