Places of Geological Interest of Aragon
Description
Delimitation of the Sites of Geological Interest (LIG) of Aragon, which are those surfaces with the presence of geological resources of natural, scientific, cultural, educational or recreational value, whether rock formations, structures, sedimentary accumulations, forms, landscapes, paleontological or mineral deposits. The dataset includes:
- "Points of Geological Interest" means LIGs, other than paleontological sites, with an area of 50 hectares or less;
- and the "Areas of Geological Interest", LIG, which are not paleontological sites, have an area of more than fifty hectares.
