Land status and Federal mineral ownership, southern Piceance basin (psowng)
Description
This is a shapefile and coverage of ownership in the
southern Piceance Basin coal assessment area, northwestern
Colorado. Polygons that make up the coverage include
counties, 7.5' quadrangles, townships, and surface and coal
ownership. The ownership coverage was clipped by the
resource boundary polygon for the coal-bearing Mesaverde
Formation and Mesaverde Group which is described in the
metadata file for the psmv_bnd coverage.
