Natural monuments Upper Austria
Description
Individual or extensive elements of the landscape in Upper Austria (OÖ), which were declared a natural monument by decision.
Natural monuments are conservation-worthy objects that possess a special rarity value, shape the landscape in any way or have cultural backgrounds. Especially in metropolitan areas, natural monuments play an ordered role. In Upper Austria, they are mainly trees and groups of trees, but also geological formations and caves.
