Description
If a company goes bankrupt, the court appoints a trustee. It investigates the cause of the bankruptcy and whether there has been fraud or mismanagement by the company's management. He is paid from the money he collects himself by monetizing the assets of the bankrupt company. Sometimes there is not enough money left in a bankruptcy to carry out this investigation. The trustee in bankruptcy can then make use of the guarantee scheme for trustees in bankruptcy (GSR). This dataset contains the number of requests received from trustees in bankruptcy per quarter.
