Description
This dataset contains crop nutrient data for Kedougou, Senegal. Crop nutrient data were compiled from a West Africa-specific food composition database. Nutrient content data are for the edible portion of each crop; in some cases seeds, in other cases tubers, and in other cases leaves. For some crops, multiple crop components are consumed, but that is not the case in this specific study. RDA values are targeted to specific age groups. An unweighted average RDA value was used for each nutrient that averages the needs of children, adolescents, and adults.
