[DISCONTINUED] International transactions in air transport services: exports, imports and balance

The balance of payments is composed by two broad sub-balances: the current account and the capital and financial account. The current account is itself subdivided into goods, services, income and current transfers. Transactions in "services" include transportation, travel and "other services". Transport services are further broken down by mode of transport (sea, air and other transport). For each of these items, the current account registers the value of exports (credits) and imports (debits). The difference between these two values is the "balance".
