January 2022 Probable Minimum 24-Month Study

Description

The Probable Minimum 24-Month Study report describes projected operations and power generation for Colorado River system reservoirs including Fontenelle, Flaming Gorge, Taylor Park, Blue Mesa, Morrow Point, Crystal, Vallecito, Navajo, Powell, Hoover Dam - Lake Mead, Davis Dam - Lake Mohave, and Parker Dam – Lake Havasu. Operations were projected using Reclamation’s 24-Month Study RiverWare model with the Probable Minimum unregulated inflow projections provided by the National Weather Service’s Colorado Basin River Forecast Center. The Probable Minimum inflow scenario reflects a dry hydrologic condition which statistically would be exceeded only 90% of the time.
