Ithaca — ITaly Hazards from capable faulting — Dataset
Description
The dataset of the ITHACA project (ITaly HAzard from capable faults), is built on a database of faults, where all the information available on the active tectonic structures in Italy is stored. It takes into account active tectonic processes that may be able to generate natural hazards. All faults that can produce surface deformations are stored in the database. The main attributes are: the kinematic type, the fault type and the geo-environmental evidence.
