Classification of Apulian Municipalities by Internal Areas
Description
List of Apulian Municipalities classified according to the definition of Internal Areas. The map of the Internal Areas identifies all the municipalities with a joint offer of three types of service – health, education and mobility – called inter-municipal poles/polies. It also represents all other municipalities based on their distance
from these poles (in terms of average actual road journey times), classifying them into four bands:
increasing relative distance - Belt, Intermediate, Peripheral, Ultraperipheral - and, therefore, with a potential greater discomfort in the use of services. Municipalities classified as Intermediate, Peripheral and Ultraperipheral represent all the Internal Areas.The source of the data is ISTAT
