Description

For January 1, 2015 through March 31, 2015, the PFS update was set at 0.0 percent by the Protecting Access to Medicare Act. After applying the budget neutrality adjustment of 0.9981, the conversion factor for January 1, 2015, through March 31, 2015 is $35.7547. Under the provisions of current law regarding the SGR, the conversion factor will change to $28.1872 on April 1, 2015 in the absence of Congressional action. In addition, the geographic practice cost index work floor of 1.0 expires on March 31, 2015 in the absence of legislative action.
