Occupational diseases - monthly data - Italy

Monthly data per protocol date on occupational diseases in Italy. For each occupational disease, 9 attributes grouped into 6 categories are provided.

A - temporal location of the disease case:

• date of detection: is the date of extraction of the data (registered and validated) from the archives; temporally qualifies the information base;
• protocol date (if applicable): is the protocol date of the case;

B - geographical location of the disease case:

• responsible Inail office: indicates the province in which the case of occupational disease is dealt with;

C - characteristics of the worker:

• worker identifier: internal code (for longitudinal analysis);
• gender: is the gender of the worker;
• Place of birth: cadastral code of the worker’s place of birth;

D - nosologic characteristics of the disease:

• ICD-10 Complained: codifies the pathology reported according to the tenth revision of the "International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems";

E - administrative characteristics:

• case identifier: internal code (for longitudinal analysis);

F - forensic characteristics of the disease:

• management: ‘agriculture’, ‘industry and services’, ‘on behalf of the State’;
