Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Saratoga National Historic Park
Description
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here.
Two sets of digital orthophotography were used in the vegetation/land use mapping process after the 2003 field season: (1) a digital orthophoto mosaic that is referred to as the Battlefield Unit photomosaic and (2) digital orthophotography of the Schuyler House, Saratoga Monument, and Victory Woods areas, located approximately seven mi (11.3 km) north of the Battlefield Unit, referred to as the Old Saratoga Unit orthophotography.
