Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of John Day Fossil Beds National Monument
Description
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here.
Since JODA represented a small site, existing sources of imagery were evaluated and the National Aerial Imagery Program (NAIP) products were found to be adequate. Based on the currentness of the 2009 product, this true-color, 1-meter pixel was accepted as the base imagery. The 2005 true-color, 1-meter pixel product was also used as ancillary data.
