Ortho-images from satellite shots **ORTHO-SAT® Pléiades** The constellation of Pléiades satellites provides images that ideally combine broad coverage, high resolution (50 cm) and high updating frequency: every point of the national territory is flown every three to four days, with a resolution of 70 cm. The agility of the Pleiades satellites allows them to acquire in stereo, which allows various applications such as 3D restitution, calculation of digital surface models (MNS), etc... The IGN ensures the ortho-rectification of images, to constitute "satellite orthoses". The exploitation of images from satellites gives great flexibility and allows in particular to have very recent images and / or high frequency of renewal, ideal for observing the evolution of territories. **ORTHO-SAT® SPOT** With the help of the SPOT6/7 satellites operated by Airbus Defence and Space, IGN and its partners have been covering metropolitan France every year since 2014 and overseas regions since 2015. The 1.5 m resolution images of these annual vintages, freely accessible to institutional actors and perfectly superimposed on the EGR, allow regular monitoring of landscape developments.
