Organic Agency – French Agency for the Development and Promotion of Organic Agriculture Culture data from 2010 to 2019 **Data are aggregated at scales** Municipal: All areas and flocks are attached to the municipality of the head office. Municipalities identified according to INSEE on 1 January 2017 Cantonal: When the municipality is not attached to a canton, it is not informed Departmental: All surfaces are attached to a department Regional: All surfaces are attached to a region The geographical scale is identified by the INSEE code of the municipality, canton, department and region **Areas certified organic or in conversion at the end of the year** Number of holdings: Number of holdings engaged (with or without committed areas (i.e. beekeepers, etc.) SurfAB: Surfaces having arrived at the end of their conversion SurfC1: Areas in the first year of conversion SurfC2: Areas in second year of conversion SurfC3: Area in third year of conversion SurfC123: Total area in conversion SurfBIO: Total area committed (AB and in conversion) **Crop groups** ALL: All surfaces TO: Other of which (jachère, gel flowers mushrooms etc...), the surfaces of wild picking, wood, marshes... are not taken into account SEE: Fodder crops (including permanent and temporary grassland, but fodder other forage crops, range...) FR: Fruit (arboriculture including nuts, fresh fruits and processing fruits) GCULE: Arable crops (including dried vegetables) LEF: Fresh vegetables (greenhouse or field mowing (including potatoes) PP: PPAM VI: Viticulture (4 % of which is table grapes at national level) HSAU: Area outside the UAA of the farm (wild gathering, collective estives, wood, roads, buildings) For more details, see the attached sheet. ATTENTION: Data may be incomplete, area and flocks are on average underestimated by 10 % and some certifying agencies do not submit their data.
