Underground Water Bodies

Description

On the island of La Palma, 5 groundwater bodies have been distinguished, which are: Insular Slope Aquifer, in which is the structure of lower permeability called Coebra, Coastal Aquifer, Basal Complex Aquifer, South Dorsal Aquifer and Aridane-Tazacorte Valley Aquifer. These bodies of water are determined by the lithological differences that they have and that make the water flow through their interior in a certain way.
