Description
It contains the works of the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN), created and regulated by Decree 85/2016, of 4 July, is intended to promote the implementation of actions that contribute to economic and social territorial cohesion, as well as to the economic development of the Canary Islands and the creation of jobs in the islands.This is a Fund endowed with the appropriations generated in the state of expenditure of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands after the Agreement adopted by the Plenary of the Joint Committee on Transfers Administration of the State-Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, held on 16 November 2015, according to which the amount resulting from the suspension of the compensation to the State for the abolition of the General Tax on Business Traffic, from the financial year 2016, would be allocated by our Autonomous Community to finalist expenditure on its fundamental public services, in terms of employment as well as to a strategic investment plan that contribute to the development of the Canary Islands. In 2016, the Minister for the Economy, Industry, Trade and Knowledge called for programmes and projects for the allocation of resources under the FDCAN for the 2016 and 2017 financial years.
