lpi channel

Description

This is the Canal General La Palma I (Barlovento – Fuencaliente), the most important on the east side of La Palma. The main function is the transport in high and by gravity of the accumulated water in the rafts and galleries of the north of the island (wet) to the south (dry). It has a length of 81.57 km along which there are downspouts that distribute water to end consumers. These downspouts are mainly owned by irrigation communities of La Isla.
