Types of track length on main tracks

Description

Kilometres of main track by type, short rails or wide gauge rails (LGS).Thanks to technical progress in manufacturing and the experience gained in laying the tracks, the length of the rails has become increasingly larger.By electric splitting, longer rails are manufactured (initially 54 m and later the so-called wide gauge rails (LGS) of up to 300 m in length).
