Points and Lines of View Remarkable in Wallonia

Description

This dataset locates places or lines of view from which you can enjoy a remarkable view of the landscape. The Remarkable Views (PVRs) are introduced in Article 40 of the CWATUPE, which states that “the Area Plan may include, in overprinting to the areas of assignment, remarkable views”. Article 450/20 of the CWATUPE defines "the perimeter from a remarkable point of view as aimed at maintaining exceptional views of a built or unbuilt landscape. The acts and works subject to a permit may be prohibited there or subject to conditions such as to avoid endangering the remarkable sight. At the map level, all elements of the dataset are represented by lines:- Viewpoints are represented by two segments that limit the opening of the angle. Angles may have varying openings depending on the extent of the landscape of quality observed. Segments that limit angles can also have varying lengths. When it comes to a panoramic viewpoint, both segments form a 360° viewing angle. The orientation of each point of view makes it possible to distinguish the panoramic points of view.- The lines of view are represented by three segments: the line of view and the two segments determining the angle of view.
