Description

The Appeals Board https://cds-cdr.cfwb.be is a specialised and independent administrative court presided over by a magistrate. It is established by Parliament by virtue of the Decree of 18 January 2018 on the Code of Prevention, Assistance to Youth and Protection of Youth Link Decree, and the Decree of 14 March 2019 on prose in charge in the Community Centre of young people who have been divested. Link to the decree The CoR receives external appeals lodged by young people deprived of their liberty in the PYPIs and the CCMD. The CoR may request the Supervisory Commission [CoS] to carry out conciliation in the context of this external appeal. External appeal may be lodged - Either in first instance by the young person following a decision taken by a director of IPPJ or CCMD. - Either on appeal from a decision taken in the course of an internal complaint lodged with the managing official of the AGAJcmd. The CoR may issue opinions and recommendations to the Government and the Parliament on its own initiative or at its request. The CoR draws up an annual report on these activities.
