National punctuality per month

Description

The punctuality percentage represents the percentage of all national trains that arrived at their final destination station with a delay of no more than 5 minutes and 59 seconds over a period of one month. For trains passing through the North-South connection of Brussels, the measurement point is the arrival at the first station of the connection at which they stop on their journey.What is neutralisation? According to the management contract, a number of delays caused by incidents external to the activities of Infrabel and SNCB (e.g. accidents at level crossings, theft of cables, delays in foreign networks, vandalism, attacks, etc. The "neutralised" punctuality figure is not intended to reflect passengers' observations, but is a tool enabling Infrabel and operators to draw up their own assessment. To have a good overview of the overall punctuality whatever the causes, it is therefore better to look at the punctuality figure "without neutralization".
