WASSEIGES - Trees and shrubs

Description

These recordings come from the BiomMap platform (https://biommap.enwallonie.be/en/home). They are the result of fieldwork carried out in 2021 and 2022 to test the prototype under development. This specific program was subsequently enriched with data collected during the Day of the Tree. BiomMap is a collaborative project that aims to allow a participatory inventory and the collection of as much knowledge as possible about the ecological network of a territory. The prototype was designed by the Municipality of Wasseiges and the Meuse@Campagnes LAG, thanks to the funding of the Smart Territory 2019 call for projects from Digital Wallonia, Wallonia and the European Union via EAFRD funds (LEADER measure). The definitive platform is accessible throughout Wallonia. It is composed of programs that allow the user to geolocate and describe on a given territory a mesh element according to its shape (point, line, surface). Once the location of the element is recorded, a visit report can be encoded that takes stock of the element at a time T. The succession of visit reports allows the element to be tracked over time. Encoded data are exposed via an API and accessible as https://biommap.enwallonie.be/api/sites/programs/NUM_PROGRAM BiomMap was deployed through the GeoNature-citizen application, a tool of the GeoNature project for participatory inventory.
