BFD200 Large-Scale Soil Landscape (BGL)
Description
The soil overview map in scale 1:200,000 (BÜK 200) provides an overview of the distribution of soil and soil-forming substrates for the entire area of Rhineland-Palatinate. The near-surface subsurface is depicted to a depth of two metres. Due to the scale, the legend units of the soil map are composed of soil form societies (BFG). A BFG consists of several soil forms.
