Exclusion zone for Type 1 and Type 2 RTGS (Type 3 may be used without any limitation)

With a view to promoting the circular economy, the Departmental Council uses in these operations infrastructure works from Graves non Traités Recyclées (GNTR), reuse materials resulting from the deconstruction of the construction site, to replace natural aggregates from quarries. These alternative materials will have the same performance criteria as the usual building materials.

In order to ensure full control of the environmental impacts associated with the use of recycled materials, environmental requirements have been laid down by the Ministry responsible for the environment: Cerema Guide “Environmental acceptability of alternative materials in road technology Deconstruction materials from construction ”

Completeness limits: Mapping is indicative. The aim is to guide the project owners, their project managers or their design consultancy firms with a strong practical purpose. The project leader must take charge of the exhaustive analysis of the environmental constraints defined by the Cerema guide “Environmental acceptability of alternative materials in road technology Deconstruction materials from construction works ” which must be supplemented by hydro-geo-morphological studies or flora fauna carried out as part of the preliminary projects.

The map shows the geographical sectors where the implementation of Type 1 and Type 2 RTGS is excluded with regard to limitations related to the immediate environment, in application of the CEREMA Guide.

** GNTR type 3:** no limitation, it can be implemented throughout the territory
