List of aid granted for heritage restoration (2016-2020)
Description
The Hérault has a rich built heritage, affecting all historical periods, and diversified in the nature of the buildings: religious, civil, industrial or related to agro-viticulture. This heritage contributes to the quality of our living environment and is a major asset in terms of attractiveness and tourism development. In partnership with other local authorities and the State, the Department of Hérault contributes to the safeguarding of built and movable heritage by providing technical advice and financial assistance to restoration projects. Such aid may concern both public or private historic monuments, classified or registered, and unprotected public heritage.
