Departmental road network of Hérault
Description
Route of the road network of the department of Hérault.
Geometry partly based on the BDTopo of the IGN, List of main steps:Add the path by following the GPS tracks of the video surveys, in case of a significant gap between the terrain and the cartographic media (BDTOPO, BDOrtho)Calage on the center of the track (Orthophoto), modeling of the sections. Calibration according to the PR+abs (including slope) indicated in the Mmin and Mmax fields.
Only entities modelled by the field “TYPE” = SC or BR are calibrated and designed for dynamic segmentation. IM entities will be able to do so in the future. All other “TYPE” values have as function map wrapping (BA, LAC, CAL)) or topological network connectivity (CO, EG, SG)
