Description

The data proposed here correspond to the number of beneficiaries and expenditure on household assistance for the elderly or disabled by intercommunality (EPCI) of the Seine-Maritime Department in 2023. The services provided in 2023 (‘service provided’) are taken into account. Where a Canton has fewer than 5 beneficiaries of one or other benefit, the data shall be covered by statistical confidentiality. In total, in 2023, the Department granted 121 household helpers to the elderly, for an amount of €194,067.65, and 132 household helpers to people with disabilities, for an amount of €192,464.62. Housekeeping assistance is intended for elderly or disabled people who need material help to carry out the tasks of daily life in order to stay at home. It is a financial aid intended to pay a person (called a home help) who will come to the beneficiary to perform certain household tasks (help with meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.). It is granted on the basis of means and age or disability rate.
