Slowly experience ribbon

Commissioned by the city, Trage Wegen vzw has inventoried the slow roads in Antwerp and also mapped experience ribbons. To make slow roads meaningful for pedestrians and cyclists, we developed experiential ribbons where experience on the road is just as important as the movement itself. Slow roads are central to this, but that's the only way to get there. That is why continuous routes were developed that show the user the way through the city in a different way than most residents are used to. They show the city from another side. These ribbons can be used for routing applications such as Slim to Antwerp. They can also be used to set priorities for advice on slow roads or urban planning and redevelopment of roads and public space.
