Scopes of the Ain SCOTs

Description

The Territorial Coherence Schemes (SCOTs) have succeeded the Master Plans (SDs). Interdepartmental SCOTs are truncated to the law of departmental boundaries. The elected representatives define together the evolution of the agglomeration and the priorities in terms of housing, trade, activity areas, transport, while the SDs focused mainly on the destination of the soil without taking into account the other policies at the level of the agglomeration (urban planning, housing, displacement). SCOTs shall be subject to public inquiry prior to approval and shall be subject to periodic reviews.
