Depending on the weather or winter type, the city takes actions to combat snow and ice. The color codes represent these different approaches. In the attached plans you will find out which bike paths are being cleared. Different winter type codes in the snow and ice plan: Winter type YELLOW (least snow/ice): The city services spread preventively on bridges, entrances and exits, major access roads, 100 emergency services and cycle paths on regional roads. Winter type ORANGE: The city services spread preventively on bridges, entrances and exits, large access roads, 100 emergency services and the most frequently used cycle paths. Winter type RED preventive: The city services spread preventively on bridges, entrances and exits, major access roads, 100 emergency services, major neighbourhood roads, public transport routes and cycle paths. Winter type RED general (most snow/ice): General commitment to keep bridges, entrances and exits, major access roads, 100 emergency services, major neighbourhood roads, public transport routes, smaller neighbourhood roads and cycle paths free of snow.
