The departmental road network open to the circulation of exceptional transport on the department of Ain.
The single vehicle or road combination shall be considered an exceptional convoy if it exceeds one of the following characteristics**:
- Length of 16.5 m
- Width of 2.55 m
- Weight of 44 tons
It can be the transport of goods, machinery (agricultural, forestry, construction) or vehicles.
