Permanent zone 30

Summary:The map "zone 30 areas" locates zone 30 areas in Antwerp and the new areas that are now being proposed. On the basis of whether or not more detailed plans, college closures and/or municipal council decisions were available, the zones concerned were drawn up on a large scale. Objective: The geo-layer gives an indication of the zone 30 areas and the areas in preparation and can be used in function of spatial analyses in combination with other information: safety, distribution, environmental analyses, quality of living, ... Creation: In collaboration with the department 'traffic and mobility' of the Urban Development Company, the zone 30 areas were drawn up on a large scale. It looked not only at the concrete zones, but also at the status of the zone concerned and the corresponding decision-making process. This data is important to the interpretation and use of the data. In this context, only the zones that have been given the status "approved" can be considered as formally approved zones 30, because the Ministry concerned has also given its approval to them.
