Description

Type = PR: Point de Repètre routier also called PLO (Points LOcalisants). Physically materialized on the ground by painted marks associated with terminals or pads known as "PR" implanted generally on the left side of the roadway in the direction of increasing numbering of PR. This object allows the linear referencing (longitudinal localization system) of events or objects, along the axes of the departmental road network.Attention, types PBD (Point Billonnette Start), PBF (Point Billonnette End), and PV (Virtual Point) have no physical representation in the field but are used for the correct calibration of RD axes especially at the level of roundabouts and intersections.Geographical point located on the axis; Metric accuracy.
