Family home people aged AFPA by EPCI CD76 2022

This file provides the number of persons assisted under the family care of the elderly (AFPA) by EPCI and the amounts of assistance granted. The data cover the period during which the services were performed (service provided). Where an EPCI has fewer than 5 beneficiaries, the data shall be subject to statistical confidentiality. In total, in 2022, the Department granted 37 support for family care for elderly people for a total expenditure of EUR 323479.

The AFPA consists of the reception, at the home of a third party who has obtained the approval of the President of the Department, for consideration, of an elderly person. The family host shall be remunerated by the person in receipt of: the Department is not its employer.

Those who are accommodated may apply for accommodation costs to be covered by social assistance in the event of insufficient resources. It is granted according to the provisions of admission to social assistance for accommodation.
